As I traveled around Vietnam, I met and talked to a lot of people. I found most people to be very friendly and open, and I had a lot of fun doing it. My favorite trick became taking people's photos, downloading it to the computer and then showing them the results. For a lot of them, I also got a printed copy made in Saigon and mailed it to them for a souvenir. That practice was a huge hit, although it tended to spiral out of control when one person got a photo and their friends then wanted photos. Ah well, it's tough but I managed to struggle through it.
