Australia - Sydney

This was a birthday party in Sydney where I got to meet people from South Africa and Colombia.  It was nice to learn some things about those places I didn't know.

This juggler had the funniest begging for money speech at the end of his act I've heard yet. My favorite line was "Please! Give me money. I really don't want to have to go back to my old job of selling drugs to your children."

This is at the Olympic Stadium.  Like most former Olympics hosts, Sydney seems to be a bit at a loss as to what to do with the Olympic facilities after everyone goes home.  It's a quite nice facility though, so I think it will eventually be a real asset to the area.

This young lad loved my camera, so I let him go around and blast away to his hearts content.  He took some pretty nice photos too.

The young girl in the center of this photo was in a car accident on the way home from the party.  She's doing well now, but has some tough hospital time in front of her.

Beth finds this photo tremendously amusing. I don't see it, but you can decide for yourself.

Beth took this one, and it's my favorite photo of myself for the whole trip.

That's the end of my Australia shots. All in all, I quite liked Oz, and recommend it.
